Are Nike's Dunks Overrated?

Originally made in 1985 for basketball, the Nike Dunks have evolved into one of the most popular modern fashion trends. The design of the shoe is simplistic, which allows grants it versatile colorways. The shoes also seem to fit true to size and cost around $110 retail, reselling for a lot more. Due to the immense hype around the shoes, its resell price has inflated some colorways more than 5 times its original amount. As for comfortability, dunks are fairly comfortable, but there are many better options for long walks. The Nike Dunks are not made with real leather, but synthetic leather made from recycled polyester. The leather quality is not the best and can crease easily.

Overall, I rate the Nike Dunks 4 stars out of 5. They are aesthetically pleasing and the various colorways allow them to be matched with numerous outfits. They are fairly cheap, if you can buy them during restock on the Nike site and the material quality is decent. As a result, the Nike Dunks are not overrated, but are overhyped.
